Mass, Heat, and Freshwater Transport From Transoceanic Sections in the Atlantic Ocean at 30°S and 24.5°N: Single Sections Versus Box Models?

چکیده
The Atlantic meridional overturning circulation (AMOC) is central to the climate of by redistributing mass, heat, and freshwater. Hydrographic sections help monitor its strength at different latitudes, inverse box models provide estimates AMOC, freshwater transports. We have used all available hydrographic zonal 24.5°N 30°S over last 30 years conclude that single section agree with monthly outputs from an ocean general model time cruise. In contrast, using multiple latitudes times year for each three decades are more consistent decadal averages same model. Therefore, solutions affected aliasing represent state However, greatly reduced when assess low-frequency variability.

the study reflected in this thesis aims at finding out relationships between critical thinking (ct), and the reading sections of tofel and ielts tests. the study tries to find any relationships between the ct ability of students and their performance on reading tests of tofel and academic ielts. however, no research has ever been conducted to investigate the relationship between ct and the read...
15 صفحه اول: metadiscourse in introduction sections of applied linguistics and physics research articles: exploring variation in frequency and type
abstract in written mode of language, metadiscourse markers are used commonly to help writers in general and academic writers in particular to produce coherent and professional texts. the purpose of the present study was to compare introduction sections of applied linguistics and physics articles regarding their use of interactive and interactional metadiscourse markers based on the model pro...

Inverse methods are applied to historical hydrographic data to address two aspects of the general circulation of the Atlantic Ocean. The method allows conservation statements for mass and other properties, along with a variety of other constraints, to be combined in a dynamically consistent way to estimate the absolute velocity field and associated property transports. The method is first used ...
متن کاملChanges in MOC and gyre-induced Atlantic Ocean heat transport
[1] Anthropogenic change of the Atlantic meridional ocean heat transport (AOHT) is diagnosed from a large ensemble of climate simulations over the period 1940– 2080, as well as its relation to changes in the Meridional Overturning Circulation (MOC) and the gyre circulation in the Atlantic. Internal variability in AOHT is closely associated with MOC variability. The anthropogenic change in AOHT,...
